As a veteran operator in customer facing realms,
I’ve lived every season of entrepreneurship—from the wide-eyed beginnings to the grit-it-out chapters, to the deep joy of building something that truly matters. Over the years, I’ve founded and led award-winning businesses, including five beloved organic restaurant-market-bakery-cafés in Montana, and earlier, a vibrant café, gallery, and wholesale bakery in Santa Barbara.
But the real heart of my work has always been people.
I've had the honor of mentoring hundreds of team members, collaborators, and fellow entrepreneurs—guiding them not just to build strong businesses, but to grow as leaders, as humans. It’s this kind of growth—the inner kind—that makes outer success sustainable and meaningful.
For me, business is a living, breathing vehicle for transformation. It’s where we practice who we are, every day. It’s where dreams get messy and real—and, when tended well, come to life in the most extraordinary ways.
I’ve made bold bets on values like sustainability, equity, and conscious growth—long before they were trending. My restaurants in Montana became a spark in the local food movement, and that courage was recognized with honors like SBA Entrepreneur of the Year and Employer of the Year.
But more than the awards or revenues, what I treasure most are the people I’ve helped grow into their own leadership—people who’ve found their voice, their clarity, and their confidence in the businesses we’ve built together.
